Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound Granny Smith apples (peeled, cored, cut into 1/2-inch pieces)
- 1 pound onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 Tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 1 Cup apple cider vinegar
- 3/4 Cup golden raisins
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
This is great served with chicken or pork.
