Ingredients
- 3 cups smoked mullet fillet, skin and bones removed
- 2 (8 ounce) packages of Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 small sweet onion, minced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons hot sauce (more if you like it hotter)
- juice from 1/2 lemon
- fresh ground black pepper to taste
- 3 Tablespoons parsley, chopped
Preparation
Combine the cream cheese, onion, garlic, Worcestershire, hot sauce, and lemon juice in a medium bowl. Shred the fish using your fingers and add to the bowl. Mix well using a fork. Add black pepper to taste and chopped parsley. Cover and chill for at least one hour and serve with crackers.
